Japanese IPTV Playlist
Disclaimer — please read first. I do not own, host, provide, control, or distribute any of these streams. Nothing — no video streams and no programme/EPG data — is hosted in this repository. This is purely a personal collection of references (links) to streams that are already publicly accessible and were found openly on the internet. Every channel link was sourced from third-party streams that were already online; I simply gathered the URLs into a playlist for personal, non-commercial use. I make no claim of ownership over any content, and I take no responsibility for the streams themselves. Their availability, legality, and quality depend entirely on the upstream providers and can change or disappear at any time, without notice.

Usage
Add this URL to your IPTV player (TiviMate, IPTVnator, VLC, etc.):
https://gitflic.ru/project/reaperc/jp-iptv/blob/raw?file=JP.m3u
Or download JP.m3u directly to load as a file.
If you prefer channels grouped into categories:
https://gitflic.ru/project/reaperc/jp-iptv/blob/raw?file=JP_Categories.m3u
Or download JP_Categories.m3u directly.
Family-friendly versions
For households or environments where adult content should be excluded, use the JP_Safe playlists (153 channels — same as above with the 5 adult channels removed):
https://gitflic.ru/project/reaperc/jp-iptv/blob/raw?file=JP_Safe.m3u
Or with categories:
https://gitflic.ru/project/reaperc/jp-iptv/blob/raw?file=JP_Safe_Categories.m3u
No VPN versions
For users outside Japan who don’t have a VPN or geo-routing service, use the JP_NoVPN playlists (104 channels — all geo-locked Rakuten, FAST, and NEW KPOP channels removed):
https://gitflic.ru/project/reaperc/jp-iptv/blob/raw?file=JP_NOVPN.m3u
Or with categories:
https://gitflic.ru/project/reaperc/jp-iptv/blob/raw?file=JP_NOVPN_Categories.m3u
These playlists contain only streams that work globally without any geo-routing. If you want the easiest no-VPN option of all, see the auto-generated playlist below.
Backup playlists
These Backup variants put every swappable channel on a single fallback host, as an alternative for when the main lists give you trouble (120 of 158 channels — a few channels with no fallback equivalent are excluded):
https://gitflic.ru/project/reaperc/jp-iptv/blob/raw?file=JP_Backup.m3u
Or with categories:
https://gitflic.ru/project/reaperc/jp-iptv/blob/raw?file=JP_Categories_Backup.m3u
Note: most fallback streams are SD/544p. Use these only if the main lists give you trouble.
Auto-generated playlist
JP_Auto.m3u (104 channels, count varies) is built and maintained automatically. It runs on a schedule and self-heals: for each channel it pulls in whatever source is currently live, so dead links get swapped out on their own with no manual upkeep.
No VPN needed. Unlike the main lists (where the geo-locked Rakuten, FAST, and KPOP channels require a Japanese VPN or proxy), JP_Auto works globally out of the box, which makes it the easiest option if you’re outside Japan.
It also draws from a wider pool of sources than the hand-curated lists. So it sometimes has a working link for a channel the main playlists don’t, and occasionally differs in naming or quality since it isn’t hand-checked. It points at the same merged EPG as the other playlists.
Channels are grouped into General, Kids, Music, News/Business, NSFW, Shopping, and Sports. Think of it as a hands-off, always-fresh companion to the main lists: if a channel acts up on the main playlist, JP_Auto is a good place to check for an alternate source.

The JP_Categories version groups these channels into four group-title categories: 地上デジタル, BS放送, CS放送, and ラクテンTV.
The JP_NoVPN playlists include 104 of the above channels — all terrestrial, BS, and CS channels that don’t require geo-routing. The 54 removed channels are Rakuten exclusives (news, music decades, anime studios, variety), FAST channels, QVC/GSTV, and NEW KPOP.
FAST channels
The playlist includes 18 free ad-supported (FAST) channels, marked with “(FAST)” in their display names and distributed into the relevant categories — 時代劇TV, アニマックス FREE, 韓流チャンネル, GOLF LIFE, ペットTV, and more. All have full EPG coverage. Note: FAST channels are geo-locked to Japan and are not included in the JP_NoVPN playlists.
EPG
Every playlist now points at a single pre-merged EPG in its url-tvg header:
https://jp-epg-26f0ce.gitlab.io/guide.xml.gz
If your player needs the plain (uncompressed) version, use:
https://jp-epg-26f0ce.gitlab.io/guide.xml
If your player doesn't auto-load the EPG, add one of the URLs above manually in your player's EPG settings.
Geo-Routing
104 of 158 channels work globally without a VPN. The remaining 54 channels (Rakuten, FAST, QVC/GSTV, NEW KPOP) are geo-locked to Japan.
Add these domains as custom rules routed through a Japanese proxy. This keeps the global channels on your direct connection and only routes the geo-locked streams through Japan:
