Overview

I love LISPs and I decided to try Racket because of friend’s advice. I looked for a task for Racket and decided to implement imageboard ripper because there are lots of tools like this in POSIX shell, Python and other languages.

As for now - lots of things are hardcoded, the ripper is slow (very slow because of its sequential processing) and is able to rip boorus like ones hosted on booru.org.

I’ll continue to improve the ripper in my free time and I encourage you to submit patches to improve its behavior.

Prerequisites

Install Racket modules:

raco pkg install html-parsing

Run

./rbooru pony.booru.org another.booru.org
